Helicopter Spirals Uncontrollably into Palm Trees at Popular Southern California Coast
A helicopter flying over a popular southern California beach suddenly began spiraling out of control, eventually losing altitude and crashing into a line of palm groves as spectators observed.
Recordings shared on the internet show the helicopter beginning to twirl near the beach then plunging in the direction of the border of the coast, where it ends up lodged between palm groves and a set of stairs adjacent to the Pacific Coast highway.

Emergency responders stated five persons were transported to a medical facility involving a pair who were in the chopper and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” subsequent to the incident on that day.
Three persons on the street were hurt. Details on their condition were not immediately available.
